La Susana has undergone a thoughtful and creative transformation that will offer an open and airy layout, seamlessly blending the interior and exterior spaces. To enter guests will pass through a "garden tunnel," where they will be greeted by La Susana’s team and the holism participatory painting created by La Susana’s guests. The new beach pavilion is positioned directly facing the Southern Atlantic Ocean, with its centerpiece VIK bar painted by one of Vik’s beloved artists, Eduardo Cardozo, fireplaces at both ends of the space and expansive glass doors open to the beach beyond. One entire fireplace wall will be wood sculptures by Uruguayan artist Javier Abdala, while the other will showcase a representative series of artworks by many Vik artists and the ceiling adorned with art and surfboards. The heart of La Susana’s beach ambiance remains the expansive “feet-in-the-sand” outdoor area for lounging and eating nestled within the dunes, The reimagined outside beach bar, inspired by the “Contructivo” artists of Uruguay is sure to become an even more iconic sunset destination for the local people and world travelers who follow the setting sun to La Susana.

José Ignacio is accessible via the Punta del Este airport, which is serviced by daily flights from airports in Argentina and Brazil.
